Little Red Riding Hood
Today the Prep/1/2 students and their teachers enjoyed watching the performance of Little Red Riding Hood as part of our Italian Week performances. The play was really funny, we all had a great time!
Filipo’s Performance
On Monday the 3rd of September the grade ones and twos watched an Italian performance in the new building.
Filipo is an Italian man who came to our school to show us some traditional Italian songs and dances. He bought along a piano accordion and tambourines. He told us about a dance called the Tarantella, which is a dance that people used to dance if they have been bitten by a tarantula spider. Filipo taught us a song which farmers used to sing when they picked grapes. We had to dance with a partner and some people even got to have a turn of the tambourines. We also did the chicken dance.
It was fantastic!
Working Bee
Sunday 12th August
Come and help out at the School Working Bee. It is great opportunity to meet new families and contribute to our school.
The major job is the re-development of the area at the front of the New MPR Building.
This entails: Tools to Bring
- Weeding of garden beds rakes, shovels, brooms,
- Spreading mulch wheel barrows, crow bars
- Spreading top soil hammer, drills
- Planting shrubs
- Positioning of rocks
There will be other minor jobs that will be designated on the day of the working bee.
There will be a free BBQ and drinks after the working bee.
Families who attend will be in the draw for the special Movie ticket prize.
G.K Disco
The G.K disco is here. Get you dancing shoes on and lets boogie!

Where: School gym
TIME: 4.30-5.30PM
